Suburban mom turned wannabe cowgirl.

My family currently consists of one daughter and two sons, a husband, two dogs and a parakeet. We also live with my parents in a big combined household.

More animals to join the family on the #ranchlife. My daughter is a nursing student at UND and my older son is a flight student at UND. My youngest, who is 14, is an 8th grader. He has Down syndrome and that has been an important part of my life journey. My husband is retired and will be the ranch hand, driving a tractor and snowplow.

I am a registered nurse by profession, including labor and delivery nurse, school nurse and public health nurse. Thoughts of writing a blog have been on my mind. I do not consider myself a blogger, but who knows??
